"Untitled", Acrylic on Canvas

Artist Statement

For this acrylic painting to start, I quietly sat in my chair and wondered about how I can create something from nothing, then the idea slowly came in as I sketched on the white blank canvas. The bold colors to show my culture in the painting filled me with passion, singing my traditional songs gave me comfort and gives me reassurance that I’m doing okay with life. Feeling balanced with my feminine and masculine self and connected with nature is what gives me growth and abundance.
